Chemical peels can improve the appearance and feel of the skin. Chemical peels are used to treat wrinkles due to sun damage and aging, reduce fine lines under the eyes and around the mouth, improve the appearance of mild scars, treat certain types of acne, hyper-pigmentation, age spots, freckles, dark patches (melasma) and uneven skin tone or redness. During this procedure, chemical solutions will be applied to the area being treated, which causes the skin to deep exfoliate and eventually peel off. Once this happens, the new skin underneath is often smoother, appears less wrinkled and fine lines. Peeling help with cell rejuvenation. Alpha hydroxyl acid derived from almond fruit, which is used as the base ingredient in meso-esthetic chemical peels. We use 20% to 40% strength of AHAs depending on the condition and needs of the skin. The producers are non-intrusive, gentle on the skin, and in most cases allow clients to resume their daily routine right after the treatment.

Post-care: After a chemical peel, the skin is temporarily more sensitive to the sun and heat.  Avoid sun for few days especially between 10am to 2pm. But if you can’t then It is highly recommended to wear “broad -spectrum” sunscreen everyday which must be above SPF30.
